Luis Llanos

Luis is an Adjunct Professor at the Industrial Engineering Department of the University of Chile with interest and teaching activities in corporate finance, capital allocation and sustainability. He is also Head of External Relations and Engagement of the Industrial Engineering Department. Prior to joining the University of Chile, he had an extended executive career at CMPC, one of the leading companies in Latin America in the paper industry. Luis has served on the boards of several companies in the industrial and financial sectors and nonprofits organizations, mostly related to education.
He is also an entrepreneur and business consultant. He received a Master of Science in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Chile.
